CAD Resources

We are equipped with the latest CAD technologies to ensure that project design and development is co-ordinated within our team and with other design partners. We can produce in-house a wide range of 3D photo realistic images and can add to these different daylight and artificial lighting studies to help to design out artificial lighting and to calculate solar gains. Our consultants can additionally model natural ventillation patterns, thermal mass performance and rainwater recovery, so all areas of eco technology are fully integrated from the outset.

blurb[1] = "Following an initial sketch design stage, all our projects are developed using CAD software 'Microstation', which allows for great flexibility and a cross platform team approach."
blurb[2] = "Detailed 3 dimensional models allow the impact of buildings within their settings to be determined and gives clients a very real sense of the spaces being created. A simple sketch model can be used to evaluate design options."
blurb[3] = "For superior presentations we have the capacity to create animations which fly around......"
blurb[4] = ".....and through."
blurb[5] = "Solar studies are important for effective solar design, which relies on catching the sun when its heat is required, and on effective shading when it is not."
blurb[6] = "We can also model flood and spot lights to mimic actual fittings. Here it was used to evaluate a proposed church lighting scheme (which saved our clients £30,000 on the design proposed by a commercial company!)"
